The Sturla Valley, crossed by a stream with the same name, offers a great variety of landscapes due to its varying range of altitudes, from 30 metres above sea level to 1.702 metres at the peak of Mount Aiona.
The small village of Borzone, with its splendid Abbey, dating back to the first half of the 7th century, is an interesting artistic attraction for visitors. The artificial reservoir of Giacopiane, surrounded by meadows, represents, together with the small Lake of Malanotte, a paradise for trout fishermen.
The “Indian Forest” in Belpiano, near Borzonasca, the biggest village of the valley, has a fun adventure trail, with Tibetan bridges hanging at different heights between the pine trees.
