U Giancu is a charming country restaurant located up on the hills, 4 km from the centre of Rapallo, where Fausto and his sons Emanuele, G.B. and Martino greet guests with a friendly welcome.
Famous for its impressive collection of over 1000 original illustrations and comics, the Restaurant has become a true cartoon museum.
Surrounded by olive trees, Restaurant U Giancu offers outdoor dining in the garden, where springtime lunches and summer dinners feature creative dishes made with vegetables, mushrooms, homemade soups and pastas, as well as a variety of high quality meats.
Wild herbs and grasses are signature items on the menu, together with the homemade bread and focaccia, vegetable flans, Genoese minestrone, wild porcini, âfinferliâ and other mushrooms, lamb chops, suckling pig fillet with applesauce, apple âtarte tatinâ, chocolate pear cake, homemade ice cream and sorbet.
