Genoa's Historical Shops

Genoa’s Historical Shops

Genoa is a city that knows how to amaze and fascinate for its artistic beauties but also for its traditions and craft productions that can be discovered during an in-depth visit to its Historical Shops.

A thematic tour tailor-made like a real sartorial suit, as sweet as the real handmade chocolate produced in the old town and as tasty as the “farinata” of the ancient “sciamadde” or the “panissa” of the “friggitorie” (fried food shops), which will allow you to go in search of real gems and secrets of tradition. All this in historical and environmental contexts of extraordinary value, with original architectural elements, furnishings, equipment and documents.

Genoa’s Historical Shops, currently 46 throughout the city, have been included since 2011 in a Register regulated by the Chamber of Commerce, the Superintendence, the City Council and trade associations.
