Tonnara of Camogli

The “Tonnarella” is one of the five still operating traditional tuna-fishing nets in Italy and it is known in Camogli since the 17th century. The nets are lowered every year, from April until October, in the sea in front of Punta Chiappa, inside the Marine Reserve of Portofino.
