  Franco Orio - Presidente of Meet in Liguria and Margherita Bozzano - Regional Tourism Councillor of Liguria (Thanks to: Settore Politiche Turistiche Regione Liguria) Meet in Liguria has been awarded of IFE AWARDS 2008 for the category "SINERGIE" during the gala dinner organized by BTC at the “Salone delle Fontane" of EUR . With the IFE AWARDS the network ITALIA FOR EVENTS appreciate excellence in meeting industry for specialized journalism, destination management, organization and supplying of services for events. The jury, made up by representatives of Regions and Autonomous Provinces involved in the IFE Project, ENIT, Federcongressi and experts have declared the winners of each category of the prize. In the category DESTINATIONS the Prize "SINERGIE" has been awarded to MEET IN LIGURIA, the Consortium made up by “Sanremo Promotion", “Ponente Congressi", “Genova Convention Bureau", “Fondazione Palazzo Ducale", “Cotone Congressi", "Consorzio Portofino Coast","Consorzio Golfo dei Poeti", for the co-marketing project realized in cooperation with “Regione Liguria" for the promotion of Liguria as a meeting destination. Very important the reason for the Prize that defines this project as one of the best ever realized in the history of our meeting industry: fairs, workshops, events, advertising spaces aimed to realize a push strategy for the development of the destination. The Prize, has been awarded by Margherita Bozzano , Regional Tourism Coucillor of Liguria, to Franco Orio, President of Meet in Liguria. |
