  During last BTC in Rome, the Ligurian stand has been the scenery of a nice challenge. Two separate competitions with buyers coming from different countries that challenged each other to prepare the true “Pesto Genovese”, following the original recipe and using the traditional tools: mortar and pestle. The winners will participate to next edition of the World Championship of Pesto , that will take place in Genoa on 2010. The initiative, promoted by CONSORTIUM MEET IN LIGURIA, and by “AGENZIA REGIONALE IN LIGURIA” was successful and has been a nice opportunity to meet persons in a pleasant and amusing . The picture shows Franco Orio Presidente of Meet in Liguria, and of the Consorzio Portofino Coast, with the winner of the first competition. |
