Rapallo

Tradition of hospitality in the heart of Tigullio

Stemma del Comune di Rapallo

Rapallo

Located in the most sheltered area of the Tigullio Gulf, Rapallo is the oldest town of the area. Evidence of its history can be seen in its Castle, a seafront fortress built in the 16th century against Saracens invasions, the Medieval bridge which, according to legend, Hannibal crossed during the Second Punic War, and the numerous Baroque steeples reaching up to the sky.
Rapallo’s vocation to tourism dates back to the second half of the 19th century, when it quickly became a favorite destination of distinguished guests, thanks to its mild climate and the quality of service.
Today prestigious hotels, restaurants and sports facilities including the 18-hole Golf provide top-notch services for tourists.
