ART. 7 RIGHTS OF THE CONCERNED PARTY

The party concerned has the right to know a) the source of the personal data; b) the purpose and methods used for handling the data; c) the system used in case of data handled with the help of electronic instruments; d) the identification details of the owner of the data, the responsible parties and the designated representative as per article 5, comma 2; e) the identify of the persons or categories of persons to which the personal data may be transmitted or who may be exposed to it in the quality of designated representative in the territory of the State or other responsible or appointed parties.
The party concerned has the right to obtain: a) the updating, correction or, when interested, the completion of the data; b) the cancellation, conversion to anonymous status or blockage of data handled in violation of the law, including those which do not require the filing of data in connection with the purpose for which it was gathered or subsequently handled; c) the declaration that the operations indicated in item a) and b) have been brought to the attention, also regarding their content, to those whose data has been transmitted or communicated, except for the cases in which carrying out this operation would be impossible or require means totally out of proportion with the rights being protected.
The concerned party has the right to oppose, completely or in part a) for legitimate reasons the handling of private data that concerns him, even if they pertain to the purpose of collection; b) the handling of personal data that is connected with the mailing of promotional material and advertising, or for market research or sales initiatives. |
